Hey there. I read your first post, but without going through all 280+ pages, are all your models 1:43?
These last ones seems bigger.

@Jacohatt,
hehe - no no, the last ones are scale 18.
I started with scale 43 but changed to scale 18 in 2007 and I don´t regret it.
@ll,
BMW celebrates today so time to celebrate them with the lovely M4.
Enjoy

Re: Faultiers collection^^- 488 GTB :D
It seems that the models from Bburago really vary in quality.
The rims and brake callipers seem okay.
Some gaps at the front however shoudn't be there in my opinion...

Re: Faultiers collection^^- 488 GTB :D
Yeah, they still have to learn a lot but its a good alternative to the 300,- plus 488 from bbr and mr
I just wish we would have a model in the middle like a 488 gtb from looksmart or so

Re: Faultiers collection^^- 488 GTB :D
With Ferrari going for the big money, they're disappointing the collectors. It cost Maisto a whole lot of money and I wonder if they will urn it back.
Yes all the toys will generate a whole of cash, but the license wasn't cheap and the collectors won't buy them in that large amounts as they used to. Although this one is quite good for a Bburago, it's not competitive with the last HWE models int terms of quality control and details. They still have a long way to go, but with no decent experience in model making (Maisto doesn't have a good collectors brand in it's portfolio) it's no wonder that they don't perform on the same level.
If you look at this model, it's mostly disappointing on the headlights, with the inside laying too low. Quite a deal breaker for me. It's good though it's overall better than the Calefornia T, but I don't think they will ever reach the quality of the former brand.

Re: Faultiers collection^^- 488 GTB :D
Nice update, sadly though that Bburago doesn't offer that top of the line build quality, but the price isn't as high as particular other brands. The alternative seems reasonable with the ever rising prices of model cars these days.

Just switch the names Bburago and Hotwheels, and replace Maisto with Mattel. It was exactly the same story when HotWheels took over Bburago's business about 20 years ago. History repeats itself.Although this one is quite good for a Bburago, it's not competitive with the last HWE models int terms of quality control and details. Personally I think it is excellent value for money. Compare it to AutoArt charging you up to € 300,00 for a 1/18th. model car, and GT Spirit asking stupid prices for a built plastic kit that (on a good day) I could glue together better. Give it some time, Bburago wil shine again!

Great additions to your Supercar-collection .
The Huracan, the 488 GTB, the blue Porsches, all have wonderful color schemes .
The white NSX is also a very good looking car. Hail to the Japanese .
