But this is not only Otto by the way. This is how almost every company reacts, so no diferentes in this modelcar world.

Nicht Kundenorientiert is for a company very bad. If you are not "Customer orientated" then why bother selling things? They seem to be like IT-guys who say "the system works perfect, if it was not for the users"...

We collectors are a small group. If we decide that Otto is doing crap we can use our money to buy other things, ie. force Otto to do something or go out of business.

Having said that, I suppose Otto is doing a niche and a rather good job within that niche for certainly a very reasonable price.
