The ancient world meets the modern times: The Arteg GT


Today, I made new pictures from my Artega GT.
Interesting car - a mix of Porsche Carrera GT, a little bid of Ferrari and germans objectiveness.
The body of the model is plastic - Revells new body material technology.
It could be slightly better, but it's nice.













The background is a roman archaeological excavation at Schwarzenacker.

I tried to make a little bid of italian flair...I hope so...

The first uncle comes with: Bentley Speed Six 'Blue Train'.













Great model from a great car. A masterpiece from PMA.

The second uncle comes with: Bentley 4.5 Litre 'the blower'













A really great masterpiece from PMA - te best PMA model in my collection so far.
The details are great - better than what we see in the current models.
Okay, only CMC is better.

...and the brother-in-law from the Bavaria was here too...with his BMW 328.
He had parked in front of the house.













The back ground of this photo session is the Zweibruecker Castle. The Bentleys was on the backside and the BMW 328 was on the frontside.

The cars are beautifull. Bought myself also this Bentley "Blue Train" a view weeks ago. Still looking for a nicely priced Bentley Blower 4.5 Litre Le Mans 1930.

The new Mercedes E-Class W212


Today, I got the brand new E-Class in 1/18. The model is from Minichamps and comes as DE.

The first meaning about this model was from me as I read the announcement: This model is from the cheaper Car Collection line.
And now: It's not so!

The model is comparable with the other new Mercedes models from AUTOart likte the C- or CL-Class.
Okay, AUTOart use more colors for the interior and the finish is much better than Minichamps. The clearence could slightly better on the doors.













Okay - now I want the E-Class coupé and cabrio (rebranded CLK-Class) and the T-Model.
Ahhhh - and where is the E63 AMG?
