A very nice example of a set only produced 6 months! The 16 is completely made of plastic and has a tow thingie molded to the front bumper. The hood is missing on purpose, the car is 'damaged'. (thanks Tom, this one really made my week!!!)
The gorgeous 204 as one of the first releases, see the plastic hubcaps on both the car & trailer! The wind screen is missing... That is a bummer, but since the 204 is not rivited together, a beater 204 with a good windscreen will restore this set. Who has one for me??
I've never noticed the red rearlights on the 204, the boat's license plate is highlighted with red paint. Wonder if this is 'original' or some work of a previous owner.
Just a couple of nice cars. The Dodge does differ from the one pictured with the 16 in several ways.
The old casting (with the R16) does not have a tow hook! Furthermore there are lights on the boom with the old version (never seen this before).
You can never have too many Daf's... This is a very nice Ebay win, I was the only one bidding and had this at a very wallet friendly price! The box for the trailer was only one year available, and thus very scare nowadays. Unfortunately the truck & trailer do not match, but that is easily fixed with a matching pair. I don't have these colors yet though.
